INVITATION

St John’s has dedicated the time from 6:00 PM 13 November – 3:00 PM 14 November as Quiet Days in our church.  You are invited to participate, explore, and rediscover our rich resources.  Join us for Friday and Saturday or for some of the time. Think “participation” rather than “endurance marathon” or “imposition”. There is place and time for individual reflection, community worship, fellowship breaks arranged around 5 Prompts to reflection.

The Church and St. Stephen’s Chapel will be a sanctuary for worship, prayer and contemplation during this time.  We hope you will sign up for what suits you, on the sheet in the passageway.

A quiet time for active reflection is part of a devotional life to shape our inner life and our outward behaviour.  It is when we call to mind, think over, dwell on, and remind ourselves of the works, ways, purposes, promises and blessings of God.
