Welcome to the website for St. John’s Anglican Church in Tillsonburg, South-Western Ontario. We’re glad you found us, and we are pleased to share some of what is special about our community — a community growing in commitment to live our daily lives as followers of Jesus. St John’s is a mid-sized parish: large enough to offer a broad range of ministry opportunities and activities for all ages, yet small enough that we really get to know and care for one another. We offer Christian education, fellowship, and formation opportunities for children and adults. We are active in our community through various outreach programs including partnership on a community kitchen feeding program. In our expression of faith and fellowship, everybody is welcome. Everybody has a place at the Lord’s table in this growing Anglican family. Our Sunday worship includes an early meditative, said-Book of Common Prayer service and a mid-morning traditional Eucharistic order from the Book of Alternative Service, with a choir and congregation that loves to sing to the accompaniment of our newly refurbished pipe organ and a growing Sunday School for children of all ages. Mid-week, we have a more intimate chapel service featuring dialogue sermons. We also offer occasional evening worship services. As believers, we make faith matter in our lives. We trust that the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ is moving among us and within us. Prayerfully, our parish family is walking together to see where God is leading us and inviting us to journey with Him. We hope you will use this site as a resource to learn more about us, and we look forward to meeting you in person and perhaps welcoming you as part of our community. Osita +
